In 2000 the directorate of the Society — according to the suggestion of two members of the jubilee preparation committee, Viktória L. Kovásznai and György Szolláth — asked György Kiss to make the centenary medal.

The cast medal has a 80 mm diameter and only those who became member before 31 December, 1999 could order it. 86 pieces were cast, all pieces were numbered. The first 10 pieces are to use as representative gift, the remaining ones are for the members. The increase on numbers follow the increase of the member-numbers.
